Hello everyone!! Hope you all are having a super and amazing day! And what's better than starting it with a good cup of coffee!! Oh my goodness me, I don't know you, but I HAVE to HAVE a nice, hot fresh brewed cup of coffee every morning, if not my day is not a good one, LOL. Well, I make it a good one but seriously, coffee helps a lot. I remember when I had my gallbladder problem and I was told not to drink coffee, WHAT?!! I didn't like it at all, but I survived and here I am, still getting caffeinated every day.
Anyways, have you heard the news? During the month of March the My Sweet Petunia and Joy Clair teams are going to be showcasing projects using products from both sides, yay!! Plus if you leave a comment whenever you see this banner you will be entered to win our prizes: 2 $25 Joy Clair Gift certificates and one MISTI - your choice of original or mini. Winners will be announced in April on both blogs.
Let's talk about the project I have for you today. I used this super cool Coffee to go background Stamp and my Original MISTI. I stamped the image on a piece of Watercolor paper in Jet Black Ink, since it is watercolor paper sometimes the first impression is not the best, so your MISTI is the best for this situation, just keep stamping it until it is perfect.
I colored the image with Spectrum Aqua Markers and also added some clear shimmer to all the cups (sadly the picture didn't capture that)
After the image was completely dried, I die-cut the panel and added it to a white card base with foam tape.
Stamped the sentiment from Coffee Lovers Stamp Set on a piece of Clear vellum in Spiced Chai ink, then die-cut the piece with banner dies.
Added some silver thread and then the banner on top.
Finally added few blue sequins.
Hope you like it!
Don't forget to leave a comment for our chance to win!
Have an amazing day!
Sweet card - love how you colored the coffee cups to look distressed - so cool:)
ReplyDeleteI like how you painted your cups. I am trying so hard to learn to watercolor, but it's hard for a non-artistic person to color in the whole image in the same color. It looks so great the way you colored it, I am going to use your image as an example. Thank you for inspiring me. :)
