Team Tuesday - with Anna Wight

It may still feel like summer outside, but we’re already getting into the Halloween spirit for today’s Team Tuesday! 👻 Design Team member Anna Wight is sharing an absolutely adorable trio of trick-or-treating ghosts, and her Mini MISTI plays an important role in bringing this little scene together. When you’re combining several stamped images on one panel, placement can make all the difference—and the Mini MISTI gives you the control to arrange each image exactly where you want it before committing to ink. Add Anna’s wonderful coloring, some clever shadows to make those ghosts appear to float, and a little Halloween pattern and color, and you have one seriously FAB-BOO-LOUS card!

Hello everyone! Anna here, with greetings from a hot, dry pacific northwest! 

Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays, with all of the fun seasonal decor and crafting that can be done for the season. The project I’m sharing today was made using the “FAB-BOO-LOUS” clear stamp set and “Monster Brights” 6x6 paper collection from SweetMissDaisy Designs. 

I used my Mini Misti to create a small scene featuring three of the ghosts from the stamp set. The Mini Misti allows me to get the perfect placement of multiple images on a single piece of paper. Creating little scenes like this using the Mini Misti is a snap! Once I had the ghosts stamped, I colored the images with alcohol markers and added additional details to the images with colored pencils. Notice the shadow below the ghosts, giving them the look of floating! I finished up my project using a sentiment stamped directly onto the pattern paper.

We love how Anna’s card demonstrates that the Mini MISTI is so much more than a tool for stamping sentiments!
