Have you ever just fell in love with a product and you can't explain why you are drawn to it? That is my relationship with this Geometric Background Die from Reverse Confetti. When I was shopping on the site, my mind kept going back to this die.
I had no earthly idea what I was going to create with it. Then once it was in my hands, I went to town on creating a set of cards. I first started off with a simple gradient of color.
Then with the remaining pieces, I was able to create more variations of the same card. I used up all of my Stick It adhesive on my first set of cards. So I had to improvise with an alternative adhesive.
I used my favorite Avery Elle Simply Said You die and a stamp from Altenew Halftone Circles to create my sentiment. For my final touches, I added a combination of different color jewels from Little Things by Lucy and Pretty Pink Posh.
Please leave a comment below on what product you have that you can't part with because you love it so. The MISTI doesn't count because that is a given.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

ReplyDeleteI have all Fiskars. Scissors, trimmers..... I can't live without them either.
DeleteYour heart/brain knew JUST what you'd do with this cool die! I am a big fan of jigsaw puzzles, so I can imagine how much fun you've had piecing these together.
ReplyDeleteNow, this is going to sound silly, but I couldn't craft without a wonderful little 'tweezer' that is really a surgical forceps that I used in my last job! The list is very long from there!

The first batch I made, I did not use Press n Seal on the black die cuts. So finding the right pieces was like doing a jigsaw puzzle. It was relaxing. I don't like to hurry when I craft. The process is what relaxes me.
DeleteThese geometric patterns are really fun ! And so many possibilities !!
