I used the Layered Floral Cover Die A and B. Layer A is made with plain white cardstock. Layer B is a specialty paper that has a shimmer and texture. I had it in my scrap pieces. The base is Doodlebug Glitter Card stock.
Instead of recreating the same card, I decided to use the Altenew Layered Blossom Cove Die A and B.
I moved the Avery Elle Love Die to the bottom of the card so that the flower would not be obstructed. I added Pretty Pink Posh Marshmallow sequins.
This was another easy card to pull together. I used three different shades of cardstock for the card and a dark grey cardstock for the sentiment.
On both versions, I rotated the cards so the sentiment would make more sense. The alphabet set I used was Altenew Bold Alphabet. I used Papertrey Rainstones for the dew drops. I think I prefer the hello card.
This card is a little more detailed to make but still rather easy. At first I did ink blending on the base, but on the second version, I used colored cardstock.
To add more detail to the flowers, I used Copic markers to color the petals. For a simple sentiment I used Altenew Label Love.
I was out of sympathy cards and I thought this would make a beautiful one. The sentiment came from Mama Elephant Labeled Messages.
For a final touch, I added more Rainstones and colored in the white tips with my Clear Wink of Stella.
There was little stamping on these cards but the MISTI was very helpful in layering these detailed die cuts. Let me know which card is your favorite or if you plan on trying this too.

What are amplify scissors? I hope I spelled that right
ReplyDeleteThey are scissors that let you cut through thick materials, like chipboard and layers of cardstock.
DeleteThese are all stunning, I love the white cards and #5 is beautiful as well.
ReplyDeleteStunning cards! So very elegant and dimensional.
ReplyDeleteYou taught me something here! That you embossed with the die so as to see where the lines could be shaded, and those cards are the ones that I loved the most. I also loved the blue setting off the beautiful colors of the roses! All 3 techniques were gorgeously done! You teach me something every time! Gorgeous dies by Altenew!
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove to see more tips using MISTI!
Thank you so much!

I love the multicolored Thank You card the most, but they are all beautiful! I use my Misti for folding card blanks in half and adding card fronts the same size using the corners all the time!
