Welcome! You are probably arriving here from Susan's blog. If not, then let me tell you; we are Hopping with Reverse Confetti today.
My card for today is using the Tweet Life. I stamped the images in Versafine Clair Nocturne and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
To color my images, I used the Atreza Real Brush Pens. These pens were sent to me from my friends at Arteza to review. I found that these work best on Bristol cardstock. They spread really well when you blend with water or mix colors. The price point is really affordable. I did email them and ask about replacements should you run out of one color. They said they are working on making that available. For more information on how to color with the Arteza Real Brush Pens watch the video below.
Once I had everything colored in and die cut with the coordinating dies, I added my scene to my base. The base is made with two shades of green. The darker green is die cut with the Reverse Confetti Leaves Cover Plate. I though it was perfect to make it look like tree branches.
Here are a few extra cards that I made.
I made the entire background with a cloud stencil. This time I used Copic markers to color in my birds and birdhouse.
For this card, I used the Reverse Confetti Under the Umbrella 6x6 pattern paper pad. I pulled out some very old and neglected enamel dots.
Now for the fun part.....
We will choose two lucky commenters from the hop to win one of two prizes.

ReplyDeleteLOVE these very tweet cards!! That leaf plate has been on my wish list for a while... and just to let you know... LOVE my Misti! My mom bought me one quite a few years ago and it sat for like two years. I just never thought to take it out and didn't have room on my table top to keep it out. One day I was making a card that had a black silhouette image and I just couldn't get it to stamp good the first time and was having a terrible time lining it up and I remembered the Misti... got it out and it hasn't been "put away" in a very long time now. It goes with me everywhere I create! I've now MADE room for it on my table. Thanks so much for creating it!
ReplyDeleteJust think what you missed out on for those years. Now you will wonder how you survived without it.
DeleteThese cards are so sweet! Loved the coloring on the birds and loved the use of the leaf plate on the background. I have a Misti and I use it all the time! Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh how cute! I love my MISTI. It saves me so much time, and I never worry about ruining a sentiment with half stamped images.
ReplyDeleteAll these birds are so cute !
