Hello! It's Chris here today sharing a fun little Valentine notecard and envelope created with my original MISTI and products from Concord and 9th.
This little valentine note and envelope were created with the recently released Concord & 9th Love and Hugs stamp set, as well as the Love Notes stamp set and Love Notes dies.
I started with a 4" x 11" piece of double sided patterned paper. I used the Love Notes envelope dies and lined them up at each end of my paper. I used bits of Thermoweb Purple Tape to hold the dies securely in place, and ran it through my Big Shot.
I scored to create fold lines for the four tabs.
I used the half circle die to die cut a small tab in the larger of the envelope flaps. This tab will allow the top flap to stay tucked in and keep the envelope closed.
I used my original MISTI to stamp the "to you from me" to the front of the envelope in first in Red Velvet ink.
Then I restamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
Then I removed the backing from the Scor-Tape and sealed the edges of the envelope.
To create the simple note card, I cut a piece of white card stock to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", and scored at 2 3/4". I also used a corner rounder to round the top and bottom right corners of the vertical folded card.
Using my original MISTI, I stamped the Love and Hugs sentiment from Love and Hugs, and the heart border from Love Notes using Red Velvet ink.
The size of the Love Notes envelope is perfect for tucking in a gift card, so I plan to add a gift card to a local restaurant before gifting on Thursday.
Thanks for stopping by today for my Valentine's week team post!
Happy Valentine's and Happy Crafting!
So, so cute Chris, I love any type of gift card holder that is cute and unique as I make a lot of them. Its always great to get fresh new ideas.
