This set of cards was fun to make. Each one is slightly different than the other. I used the Hero Arts Ombre Pool to Navy ink pad. I struggle with masculine cards. The Urban Skyline Bold Print background stamp is perfect for masculine cards.
For this card, I stacked several of the Simon Says Stamp Painted Thanks die. To make it stand out more, I cut one of the Painted Thanks die cuts in black and off set it to create shadow. Finally, I embellished all my cards with a variety of sequins.
Changing the color and the sentiment will change the entire feel of the card. Instead of using an ombre ink pad, I used three separate colors. It did take some practice to get the blending perfect.
I sprayed all of my cards with Sparkle Sheer Shimmer Spritz. It added the final touch to all my cards.
I think this is my favorite one from the whole group of cards. I loved how all the colors blended. I also added an extra black die cut as an offset.
For Valentine's Day, I made this variation. I used the Hero Arts Ombre Vintage Metallic Steel. The sentiment is a die from Avery Elle and the "YOU" is stamped from Simon Says Stamp You stamp set.
I hope you enjoy the video. Thanks for stopping by.
