Sugar Pea



Hi everyone!  Welcome to our hop with Sugar Pea.  I am super excited to show you my card.   I forgot how fun it was to use cardstock as part of the design.  I had been used to just stamping, so this was a breath of fresh air and a nice change of pace. Here is my card featuring Storybook Circus stamp set.


I stamped my image onto some Neenah cardstock and colored the image in with my Copics.  Unfortunately, I have reached that age where I have to use a magnifying lamp to see the tiny details of the ringmaster's buttons.  The ringmaster was then die cut with my Spellbinder's Circle dies.  These were some of my first dies I ever splurged on. 

The background is made with the Sugar Pea Starburst Cover Plate. I used Real Red cardstock and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper. I matted it in Basic Black Cardstock.  The scalloped rectangle was made with Papertrey Ink Gold Shimmer cardstock.  Finally, I embellished with some Pretty Pink Posh Confetti and my clear Wink of Stella.

    You put a lot of effort into these cards, and it shows--they are adorable, as are the stamps! The burst die is really cool. Had to chuckle that you need help seeing the small details to color them. I have readers everywhere now to help me see close up :)
