Sugar Pea



Hi everyone!  Welcome to our hop with Sugar Pea.  I am super excited to show you my card.   I forgot how fun it was to use cardstock as part of the design.  I had been used to just stamping, so this was a breath of fresh air and a nice change of pace. Here is my card featuring Storybook Circus stamp set.


I stamped my image onto some Neenah cardstock and colored the image in with my Copics.  Unfortunately, I have reached that age where I have to use a magnifying lamp to see the tiny details of the ringmaster's buttons.  The ringmaster was then die cut with my Spellbinder's Circle dies.  These were some of my first dies I ever splurged on. 

The background is made with the Sugar Pea Starburst Cover Plate. I used Real Red cardstock and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper. I matted it in Basic Black Cardstock.  The scalloped rectangle was made with Papertrey Ink Gold Shimmer cardstock.  Finally, I embellished with some Pretty Pink Posh Confetti and my clear Wink of Stella.

Masculine card


Hello there,

Maria here today with a new card for you. I have a hard time making masculine cards. It's even more challenging when you make one for your loved one. Probably the best is to go simple and clean. But is impossible to stop adding layers when you are a cardmaker.


I got inspired by the royal and vintage styles. I used the Original MISTI and the Creative Corners to get everything in the right place. This card takes a few minutes to make. The color palette is pretty simple, which made my stamping go faster.

If you want to add some sparkle, go for it. Some men like a bit of glitter. I hope you get inspired by today's card. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Altenew 3rd Birthday Celebration

Hi everyone!

The Altenew color layering sets work perfectly with the MISTI, and makes positioning so  easy and then you can mass produce many without having to worry about perfectly positioning your stamps every single time. 
For my card I used the Azalea stamp set. I had to make it pool blue (since it's my favorite color), I stamped the first flower with the MISTI, then using some masking paper I masked it and stamped the second flower. Then repeated the same process for the leaves.  Next I stamped the "celebrate" (we are celebrating here, right? ;))  from the Label Love set and trimmed it.  
I assembled my card and added some sequins and voila.
