It is that time of year that we prepare for Christmas cards. You will hear me call the holiday Christmas. I am not trying to be controversial. Not sure why it is offensive to say Merry Christmas. I know that there are other faiths that don't celebrate Christmas. There are holidays on the calendar that I don't celebrate also. Reality is that the calendar does say Christmas Day.
Wouldn't it be nice to just freely say to a stranger "Merry Christmas " and not fear offending. It would also be great if said stranger, instead of being offended just replied with their greeting of choice. Just like we should not be offended if some one says, "Happy Holidays" to us; we should just reply with our greeting of our choice.
We live in a society that wants tolerance and acceptance. I find it that tolerance and acceptance has to go both ways. So lets truly embrace each other, differences and all, and let's DECK THE HALLS!
For today's card, I used the branch from Ellen Hutson's Homespun Holidays and the sentiment from Concord & 9th O Christmas Tree stamp set. The tiny berries are from Joy, also by Concord & 9th.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the step by step instructions in the video.
