Ilina here and Welcome to another Team Tuesday.! Today I have an elegant shaker card featuring some Studio Katia Products. As well as video.
I am also experimenting with the Arteza cold press watercolor paper, with my Zig clean color real brush markers.
I stamped my images on the watercolor paper few times using my MISTI and then embossed with white embossing powder. Next using my pens I watercolored them and die cut them once I was done. I created my shaker panel using 2 Studio Katia die sets Dotted Balloon and Darling ribbon and dotted frame. I used Neenah metallic paper I picked up at my local target.
Watch the video below how this card came to be and hope you are inspired to create something today (supplies are on the bottom of this post)
I used my magical fadeout ink to stamp the mouse. Then I stamped him on masking paper, cut it out, and masked him while I stamped the cheese, also in the fadeout ink. Then I watercolored both with Daniel Smith watercolor and stamped the sentiment (which cracks me up) from the stamp set.

Just popping in to wish my friend Iliana Happy Anniversary.
In honor of her anniversary - she's having a flash sale on the Studio Bag for 24 hours!
Her anniversary is the 24th, so starting at 12:01 AM today and running till 11:59 PM Central time on the 24th, you can grab the amazing, Mary Poppins-style Studio Bag in your choice of color for just $24.
I take my studio bag EVERYWHERE when I am watercolor sketching, crafting with friends, or teaching my classes. You can fit SO much stuff in this bag and I love the shoulder strap because I'm always carrying a giant iced tea wherever I go in one hand and my phone is in the other.
When I saw this layout at Freshly Made Sketches, I knew my MISTI would make putting it together a snap. I used the new Impression Obsession Namaste Stamp as my focal point and two pieces of coordinating cardstock. I stamped the sentiment twice using my MISTI, so the sentiment was positioned in the same place on both pieces of cardstock (I love how my cardstock was the exact shade as my MISTI with the Turquoise Stickers). Since the sentiments were aligned, when I trimmed my cardstock, I could trim both pieces both together and assemble my texty puzzle for the sketch. I added Impression Obsession Geometric Flower Die Cuts (topped with Eyelet Outlet Flower Bling). Here is another take on the same MISTI technique using my Impression Obsession Wedding Collage background stamp. This time I stamped twice with Rose Petals Ink on Ivory and Lavender Cardstock.
I trimmed my backgrounds together & then cut them into four pieces to assemble my grid ... the other great thing about this technique is you can end-up with two cards by assembling all of your pieces back together.
This time I matted on grey cardstock leaving a slight space between my pieces.
Are there stamps in your collection that would be fun to create with a grid design using your MISTI?
I have been blessed with time lately. Even though I work from home, I make it a point to head down to my craft room between 6:30 and 7:00 am everyday. I work until 5:00 pm or until I hear my husband's footsteps.
I am a schedule kind of person. I have been trying to establish a routine. Once my routine is established, I can start adding to it. That means, I will have to add workout time into my schedule. I set goals for things I need to get done and then I reward myself with a little crafting.
Today's card is using Critter Crew from Avery Elle. This was a stamp set that was in their February release that Jaime so generously sent me.
I stamped the focal image on Bristol cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I dug out my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. I forgot how awesome they are.
Be sure to find time this week for some crafting. I hope you enjoy the video and thanks so much for stopping by!
