There's something so refreshing about summer-inspired cards, and today's Team Tuesday project from Design Team member Ceal Pritchett is full of bright citrus colors and cheerful charm! Using a combination of the Petunia Platform, Mini Sticky Mat, Power Mag, and Mini MISTI, Ceal demonstrates how the right tools make even intricate die-cut projects more enjoyable. From holding delicate die cuts securely while coloring to achieving perfectly placed sentiments, this project is packed with simple techniques that make crafting easier, more precise, and a whole lot more fun. It's Ceal here. Today I am sharing a card made with the July My Monthly Hero card kit by Hero Arts.
To make this card, I started with a white top-folding A2 card base and a white panel. I used the panel to cut out the Citrus Frame Die. While this set includes dies to cut everything out, I love to color, so I placed the die-cut frame on a mini sticky mat to hold it in place. I then placed the sticky mat on the Petunia Platform and added a Power Mag so I could easily rotate the platform as I colored.

After I got it all colored, I added it to the card base and stamped my greeting in the center using the Mini Misti. To finish the card, I added die cut flowers over the flowers on the frame, and I added some texture to the lemons with a gold metallic marker.
