Focus Friday - with Fabiola!

We’re excited to kick off this week’s Focus Friday with an incredibly creative technique from our talented Design Team member, Fabiola Giardinaro! ✨

If you think your MISTI Lite is just for stamping stamps, think again—Fabiola is taking creativity to a whole new level by using her metal dies to create stamped impressions with the help of My Sweet Petunia magnets. Yes…she’s actually “stamping” with dies! Using the MISTI Lite along with Mini Pawn Magnets to hold everything securely in place, Fabiola demonstrates a clever out-of-the-box technique that opens up even more possibilities for your crafting. Paired with vibrant coloring and summery details, this project is a perfect reminder that My Sweet Petunia tools are designed to inspire creativity far beyond the expected. Get ready to look at your MISTI Lite in a whole new way!

Hello friends, today I propose an alternative use of MISTI Lite, which we will need to stamp the dies. Yes, you read that right... stamp the dies. With the various magnets you can lock the dies and dab to obtain a stamp of the die. To raise the sheet, as everything was made for the clear/rubber stamps, I used a black mat from the old Misti and stamped on the clear side and that's it. And so, you can go even further with your projects.

Here specifically, given the crazy heat that is in the south of Italy these days, I used the Pensacola set by Mintopia. Both stamped and die-cut dies and a card from their pad. And then I had fun coloring with my Olo markers.

The final effect is wonderful, and it will certainly be a technique that I will reuse.

What do you think?

Thank you for stopping by and see you next time, Fabiola.

  1. What an innovative idea Fabiola, & lovely card. I have found myself using the Misti Lite quite a bit- more than I originally thought when I purchased it. Yesterday I had a mini slimline card previously made that needed a sentiment stamped on the inside. Not sure it would have worked w/ the Misti d/t the embellishments on the card front. But with the Lite it worked perfectly!
