Team Tuesday with Stephanie: #lettersforhenry

I recently returned from three solid days of making art at Junkiefest, and I was reminded that my MISTI is not just the best tool for stamping ... it is also the perfect tool for inking.

In my class with Elizabeth (aka Love from Lizi) I made this fun card using my MISTI, Hero Arts Stamps, and Love from Lizi Peel-Off Stickers and that card is what inspired my cards today.

The MISTI makes it so easy to perfectly line-up your masking tape.  And the MISTI Mouse Pad is perfect for inking because it wipes clean so easily.

I used my Memory MISTI Mouse Pad to position my paper and apply the masking tape using the squares on the Mouse Pad to align it perfectly straight.  I positioned my stamp, so I knew how much room to leave between the tape for inking.

I'm using the new stamp set from Unity Stamp Company called #lettersforhenry honoring the life of Henry Groenveld.

I stamped the Mail Truck (aka LLV) in Black ink on a Gina K. White Card Stock card base and clear embossed before I inked and blended four colors of Distress Oxide Ink (Dusty Concord, Salty Ocean, Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass) in my masked area.

After removing the tape I stamped one of the hashtag sentiments from the set and then outlined it with strips of cardstock and the thinnest of the Silver Peel Off Stickers from Love from Lizi.

For my second card, I positioned a piece of Gina K. Designs Ivory Card Stock (love her cardstock) in the center of my Memory MISTI and used the squares on the Mouse Pad to position my masking tape vertically.  I stamped the Mail Box in Black Ink and clear embossed again.

I stuck with the same four inks, but this time I left the colors a bit more separated and grounded my mailbox with the Dusty Concord.

I trimmed down this panel and attached it to an Ivory Card Base framing it with the second widest of the Love from Lizi Silver Peel-Off Stickers.

I used another sentiment from the Unity Stamp Company #lettersforhenry stamp set ... it is so true ... always choose to be kind.

I hope these cards have made you think about other options for using your MISTI and your MISTI Mouse Pad in your craft room (and also made you want to put some of those cards you've made in the mail with encouraging messages).

  4. Hi) I want to share with you a service that helped me a lot last year. I didn’t have time to write my term paper in time and then I found a writer, a team helped me with this. I really like the way academic papers are written here quickly and what quality they are https://paramountessays.com/buy-coursework
