Thanks for stopping by. If you are arriving from Theresa's, this is your last stop. If this is your first stop, be sure to read all the way to the bottom to see where to start on this Gina K Designs/My Sweet Petunia Blog Hop.
Mermaids seem to be in style these days. I have seen several stamp sets recently. The one thing I have noticed is that their hair is always perfect. Seriously, I go swimming and I come out of the water and my hair looks like a drowned rat. I do have to say that I was blessed with great hair; but nothing like mermaid's hair.
For my cards today, i created the same scene but had a different background. For one, I used the Gina K Waterdrop Stencil with a combination of glitter pastes to create an ombre look. For the other I just used a couple of Gina K Dye inks and did some ink blending.
Now for the fun part. We do have a giveaway. All you have to do is leave a comment on every blog post along the way for your chance to win your choice of an original or mini MISTI, as well as the Stitched Leaves mini kit from Gina K.
The deadline for commenting is noon central standard time on September 5th. Winners will be posted on the My Sweet Petunia Giveaway Winners page and Gina K Blog on Friday, September 8th.
