We eventually moved to the midwest and I could only find a job in an MRI clinic. All that seems like a lifetime ago. All of these memories come back to me every time I think about breast cancer. So when Ellen Hutson decided to have a stamp set to bring awareness to breast cancer, I did not hesitate to buy it.
I decided to make my own paper like I did for this post. The paper turned out quite yummy and I will have to try and use it up as much as I can.
Ellen Hutson still has this stamp available and half the proceeds go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Thank so much for stopping by!

Bought this set when it was first offered and am happy that I did. Not only was it for a great cause but the product is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteIliana,
ReplyDeleteI love this set, and I didn't hesitate to buy it either! My mother-in-law had breast cancer and she died 12 years ago when it returned after she had been in remission for 11 years. She was a Christian woman who was a such an inspiring to me. Sadly,a few years after she passed, her sister was also diagnosed with breast cancer. I am thankful she is a survivor and I will be sending her a card, made with this set. I have other friends that I will be making cards for with the set too.
I was happy when Ellen offered this set the way she did. I think it is important for each person to donate to causes that are important to them. This cause is one I am always willing to support!
BTW, it is always fun to hear what you did in life PM (Pre-MISTI...just seemed better than using Before MISTI since the that whole sentence would not have sounded good with the required abbreviation 😉). Have a great day!
Thanks for sharing this pretty card. My sister-in-law was recently diagnosed w/ breast cancer out of the blue, and she has surgery next week. I want to make her a card, but have been struggling with a design.
