Happy Tuesday!
I love to make backgrounds.
There are so many great stamps, inks and paints out there to use along with my Mini MISTI that I rarely use patterned papers anymore. Sometimes I just make backgrounds so I usually have a pile around to play with when I am ready to make a project.
Today's project uses a background I made with my Mini MISTI, Color Burst and stamps from Technique Junkies.
I made a simple white card and then stamped my flower image (Rose Doodles) and phrase (Double Weird Sayings) with black Archival ink and then sponged some blue and yellow ink around the flowers. I used the same blue ink to splatter.
I stamped my flowers on a Color Burst panel (Alizarin Crimson, Lemon Yellow, Orange ). The MISTI is fabulous for stamping on textured watercolor paper. Stamp as many times as you need to get a perfect image.
I colored the leaves and stem with markers and the cut out my flowers and layered them on my card.
