ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your video. Your card is beautiful. I liked your use of the cardboard to avoid the fingerprints...a frequent problem when blending. Thanks for the extra tips on using your Misti. I am a tiny bit jealous of your ability to have more than one Mini Misti to use. One of the perks for inventing it, I'm sure. Such a fabulous tool. I do have the original Misti. You've probably heard it a million times....I didn't think it would be as terrific as it is. I literally use it for nearly every card I make. Thanks for inventing this amazing tool.
ReplyDeleteBesutiful. Thank you

ReplyDeleteLoved the use of the glitter will have to try. thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card!!! I would love to win a mini Misti! Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteLoved the stamp you used on the card to demonstrate how the MISTI is helpful in placement and coloring!
ReplyDeleteWow, awesome card, Iliana!! Love the technique, the glitter, and the pretty flower. I can't believe it, you even used the bottom of the Mini MISTI! ReplyDeleteYour card is simply beautiful Iliana. This technique is a favorite of mine and I can see the Misti would make it so much easier. Thank you for the video how-to :-)
ReplyDeleteAwesome card...love the colors.
ReplyDeleteIliana,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the MISTI MAYnia! I have discovered several new-to-me blogs, designers, techniques, and tools because of your Maynia. Of course I'd love to win a MISTI, but even if I don't, I have already won with the joy in my heart I have experienced by visiting these blogs over the past several days. As someone who arrived late in the game, I have more blogs to visit. I just wanted to say thank you!
Beautiful card. I love the color combo and the glitter.
ReplyDeleteVery elegant card thanks for sharing and chance to win😊
ReplyDeleteThis is a terrific card. I always steer clear of covering an entire card front with ink blending, but it seems so worth while that I am going to work on it. Thank you for showing that the back of the MISTI can be used to help hold paper in place for coloring, and that the MISTI can be used to line up the card front to the cardbase (genius!).
ReplyDeleteWow!!! Such a lovely card!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your card. Such a good idea with dry embossing and coloring.
ReplyDeleteGreat design and colouring; beautiful card !!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your creativity in this clear video.
And a big thank you again for your generosity ! It would be great to win a Mini Misti; especially after seeing all its possibilities during the Misti_may-nia. Good luck to all of us !
Thanks for the demo on the background coloring. This is a great tip I look forward to trying. Love the clean crisp flower stamp. Really great card design.
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I love the purple....my fave! (Hope Lucy feels better soon!)
ReplyDeleteYour card is so delicate, I love it ! Watching your videos, it always looks so "easy", but when I try to reproduce a card of yours, it's much more complicated. The easy part is always the MISTI part ! I love my MISIT and cannot stamp without it. I'm participating to the MISTI May-nia, so with a little luck, I'll get a mini one, it would be great. Cannot wait to get more inspiration out of your next videos.
ReplyDeleteIsabelle Baudin
This is so gorgeous Iliana, I love this flower and I also love Iridescent Ice. I have been a fan of that since I first saw it.
ReplyDeleteAs we near the end of the month, I just want to Thank YOU, for your generosity for all of the giveaways, you are so kind!
So sorry to hear Lucy is ill- get well soon, Lucy! Iliana, you served her well as her stand-in!
ReplyDeleteI was just telling my supportive husband last nite about your giveaway, your incredible talent- as an artist and tool designer- and here you are with an example I could wave his way and say- "see what I mean?" He actually was impressed enough to watch a bit of the video and see how the MISTI works! Another Misti convert! (And if I don'the win one thru the giveaway, I think the groundwork has been well-laid with him for the birthday hint- Thx for your help with that!) As for the card- beautiful as always; I'm always inspired by how elegant and professional your crisp, clean designs are. I'd never dare the overstamp/re-emboss technique without a Misti- realignment is not my strong suit. Have a great Memorial Weekend, congrats and continued success on the MISTI!
Love to have a Misti!
ReplyDeleteLove the card! Never thought to use the Misti that way. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteLove the colours. Thank you for showing a different way to use the Misti.
ReplyDeleteGENIUS!! Pure genius! Never in a million zillion years would I have figured out how to make that card. Your MISTI is perfect for the process and it is just delightful! I love heat embossing and lots of times ruin pieces because I don't get it perfectly stamped with versamark. With the Misti it would always be perfect! Thanks for all you do from all of us!
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing us a new way to use the Misti...can't wait to get one waiting for my birthday next week

Such a pretty card. Love the colors and the pearl accents you used. Great video too. It was fun to see how you used the Misti for re-stamping everything a second time with the iridescent powder. Clever!! Thanks for posting and sharing while Lucy is ill. Hope she gets to feeling better quickly.
ReplyDeletelove the blending of the colors. colorful and simple. I can see where the the mini misti can be so beneficial for making this card
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty card! I enjoyed the video to see how you used the MISTI and how you did all the blending. The sparkle is a great touch, and I like your idea of using the tiny embellishment as a period at the end of the sentiment :)
ReplyDeleteIliana, thank you for yet another great idea for using the Misti . I'd seen videos of the Misti in use but figured it was only for the pros making money with their stamping. I just couldn't justify that expense for my hobby stamping. Then I lost the use of my right hand and my stamping days were over. I was so frustrated. Eventually, I realized that by purchasing the Misti, I could continue to stamp using my left hand and right elbow. My stamping is way better now and it saved me money in the sense that I'm not wasting thousands of dollars letting my craft supplies sit idle or giving them away .
ReplyDelete. Now with the more affordable Mini Misti available, I believe this tool will soon change the way the world stamps. Thanks so very much.
I used the same stamp set to make a card today myself, sorry Lucy was sick - Thanks for offering us the opportunity to obtain the Misty and Thanks for more ideas on using the Simon Says Spring Flowers Stamp Set.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower card! Thank you for the new to me uses of my Misti! Never thought to use the reverse side as a mount for coloring or embossing. And, to use the grid paper to help place the various layers on a base card. Will have to try that very soon! I am forever trying to make sure everything is straight. Great video...thanks again.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card!!!Hope you feeling better!!!Have a Blessed Day!!
ReplyDeleteHow clever to use your Misti for a magnet board! That, and I love that you have multiple mistis!! 😉 I would love to win a mini!! Absolutely beautiful job masking and blending - seriously!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Love the way you shaded the base. Thanks for the tip about smudging. I have done that way too many times but do I think of covering it--NO. Also, didn't know one could emboss then double emboss.
