If you haven't noticed some days we have more than one designer, that also means that the opportunity to win is doubled. In case that you missed the giveaway, all you have to do is stop by the blogs on the date of their May-nia post and leave them a comment. Each blogger will draw their own winner within a week, and if you're the winner, you will receive instructions. You can keep checking the original post for the designer for each day. You can also like the Facebook page where we will post the daily designer.
You may wonder why I am doing this? It is a simple explanation. I feel so blessed by the outpouring of support from crafters like you. You have supported my endeavor from the beginning. Two years ago, I was a crafter looking for a way to bring this great idea to others.
I have learned a lot since this began. I have learned about the power of social media. I have learned a lot about the caliber of the different types of people out there. What my Voice of Reason keeps reminding me about is to focus on the people that support me.
YOU SUPPORT ME! So I want to thank you the best way I know how. It really is not about a free product. It is about helping you to share the gift that God has given you to create something to brighten another's day.
But there is more. This month we also launched our award winning Memory MISTI.
It has been almost 2 years since I have had a chance to scrapbook. I really wanted to use some of my patterned paper but I couldn't find the right background paper. So...... I made my own.
I loved the way it turned out so I even made a matching card.
I hope you enjoy the videos of both projects. Don't forget to subscribe to the blog and the YouTube channel. You never know when we will have a giveaway.
Thanks for participating this first week of MISTI May-nia.

ReplyDeleteOne of my very favorite things to do is to make my own BGs, which is why I have gravitated towards cards more as of late, myself. but Like you I am a Scrapbooker first but have taken a bit of a break as of late. I think this would totally allow me to utilize my stamps more and make them even more versatile! Thank you for all the varying sizes of MISTIs Illiana!

Amazing tools and when I found out you were from Sherrard, WOW what a small world. I grew up in New Windsor and graduated in 1975 from Winola long before schools consolidated with Sherrard. SO happy for your success! Kathy
ReplyDeleteIliana, you have a heart of gold. It's YOU who is inspiring to others and I absolutely adore your faith in God and the gratefulness you show with the gift He has give you. It truly is a gift to all of the crafters and artists that you came up with this invention. Every time I stamp with my original MISTI, I am in awe and am so thankful for your ingenuity in coming up with this tool. It has made me a better crafter. It has made me enjoy this hobby even more. It has allowed me to share my creativity with others. It has made me a more confident stamper. For all this, I thank you!! May God continue to bless you and your family.
ReplyDeleteLovely layout and card! Fab to have a matching set too! Thank you for the giveaway month! You'll make some very happy people in May... fingers crossed I might be one of them lol
ReplyDeleteWow what a lovely card, your Mother is going to LUV it...for sure.
ReplyDeleteWondering mind wants to know, why are you not using the magnets in the beginning of the video?
I would, I think to be sure the card stays really in place.
You don't have to use the magnets if the paper is in the corner. Usually I use the magnets if the paper has some warp in it.
DeleteBeautiful card and layout!! Love the stamping!! Thanks for all the giveaways!!

ReplyDeleteWell I am officially shocked to find out that you have created a Memory Misti also...where have I been? Obviously with my head in the sand!! I don't scrapbook anymore..I make cards now...but my daughters are still scrapbooking & will be for years to come!! I've got to show them this! They are not into stamping much for their scrapbook pages, but I have a TON of stamps they could use if they so desired!

ReplyDeleteIt's funny, I thought both of the pages looked great. I love my Misti. I would like a mini because I could slip it into my travel bag so I have it if I'm not crafting at home. I keep forgetting to pack it and when working with friends I can't borrow theirs because they are always using them. That just speaks for what a great product this is. Thank you so much for the giveaway. So sweet.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and loved the video. I too am new to water coloring, but you made it look easy. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIlyana, is there somewhere you list in print the names of the items you use and refer to? For example, I am trying to locate the card class you refer to that you took by "dawn wilsake" (sounds like but isn't right because I did a search and could not find anything). It's REALLY nice when videos have a list of the products they use, would you please consider doing this? Or tell me where I can find this information? Thanks so much!!! Karen
ReplyDeleteThe card class is http://www.onlinecardclasses.com/product/watercolor-for-card-makers-intermediate-techniques/
DeleteIt is really good!
