Today's card is part of a fun collaboration with our friends at Pinkfresh Studio! I fell in love with Kinnari and her stamps at the same time - she's such a warm, sweet, SMART woman and I just love her designs.
I think that one of the super unique things about Pinkfresh is the dies - not only the super unique standalone dies, but the coordinating dies are so cute.
I used this sweet, sweet winter animal skiing stamp set and the matching dies to create this scene - what's super fun about these images is you can do very minimal coloring on them and they are super adorable. I cut the mountains from Dove cardstock, and then Copic colored just the squirrel and the little jeans - haha - who skis in jeans?? A squirrel, that's who.

I love making Christmas cards in the heat of Summer! It's cool to get a jump on them, and cooling, too!
ReplyDeleteThis little squirrel is rockin' his jeans - obviously he never falls, right? lol

Such a sweet card. I, too, love to create Christmas cards all year long, even in the heat of summer. I have to admit, though, that I haven't been creating as many yet compared to previous years.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cutie squirrel! I like making simple and elegant holiday cards but last year I was smitten by all the gnomes so I made a lot of gnome cards!
ReplyDeleteI assemble-line my christmas cards all at once or over a few crafting sessions. I make and mail around 40 cards.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card. Love that little skiing guy! What a simply incredible blog hop. MISTI and Pink Fresh - a match made in heaven!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this skiier. I bought this stamp set about a year ago, and have used it, but want to use it again. I LOVE IT. Your stamping is so clear, because you used a MISTI. The squirrel is so sweet, and seems to be having so much fun. I love the mountains, too. REALLY CUTE CARD. In fact, it is my favorite from the whole blog hop!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is super cute Iliana and makes for a great Christmas card.
ReplyDeleteI make 70 of the same card, I will be starting soon, have an idea. I may change up each card a bit, but use the same stamp set, may change color etc. I do this so I don't forget who I sent which card. They are all special, no photo copies, individually covered, a total gift of love for family and friends.
ReplyDeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable!!! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable card! Have a fun crafty weekend!
ReplyDeleteI usually make my cards all at once over the course of a week. I wish I was in the snow with this squirrel!
ReplyDeleteI do an assembly line but I try to make each card a bit different. I don’t like too many of the same card.
ReplyDeleteSo adorable! Thanks for the inspiration and this fabulous blog hop!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect timing! I was just planning out our Christmas cards this past week. I decided on combining stamping, diecuts, and a photo insert of our family in a trifold card.
ReplyDeleteWow! I just started putting my Christmas cards together. I only have 10 done but I do mass production of the same card which does go faster. I should have over 100 this year. So much fun!
ReplyDeleteChristmas cards are my fav, so I make them all year long. I'm not fond of signing & addressing them, however--haha! That is always the big challenge for me. Love your darling card!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card !! Thanks for the inspiration and a wonderful hop !!
ReplyDeleteI love the clean lines of your card and that squirrel is too cute! The Misti makes stamping for everyone!
ReplyDeleteI guess if a squirrel is going to ski, he can wear whatever he wants! :) I tend to do a Christmas card here and there through the year. And then a big rush closer to Christmas! :)

ReplyDeleteAwwww what a sweet card, and fantastic & inspirational hop - I loved all the stops, and added some items to my wishlist, LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove both My Sweet Petunia & Pink Fresh Studios, a match made in stamp Heaven!
ReplyDeleteI usually do them all at once (if I make Christmas cards at all that year!) but I'm thinking maybe a few at a time throughout the year sounds like a good idea!
ReplyDeleteI use to do them all at the last minute but the last two years I have done them throughout the year and still had some last minute ones to do last year but much less stressful a little at a time.
ReplyDeleteGood Work At All. I really impressed with your work. keep it upvMix Crack Torrent
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling card! I love that little skiing squirrel! Great collaboration with Pinkfresh Studio! I am enjoying all of the projects along the hop!
ReplyDeleteI love making Holiday cards - all the glitter and shine!!
ReplyDeleteI love making them altogether because I find that making the first card inspires an idea for the next. I also have ALL my Holiday craft items out so that I get to use some of the older ones. I start making them around Halloween:)
loving this sweet card
ReplyDeleteGreat design and such a sweet squirrel, big fan of Pinkfresh too. I'm also in the second category, I make them throughout the year to be better prepared.
ReplyDeleteusually I wait until after Thanksgiving and I feel a tremendous pressure to make them while I have them coming in. But not this year. This year I have started early and am really enjoying making several different kinds, rather than mass producing one. Thank you for the chance to win. I love your cute card, I think Squirrels wear jeans too.
ReplyDeleteI usually do all of my Christmas cards at one time, to be honest I never think to do them throughout the year, but I really should because I’m so busy during the holidays as it is lol. Love your cute scene!
ReplyDeleteOh too cute!

I learned so much during the blog hop, including needing to get another MISTI. Being a scrapbooker AND cardmaker the MISTI helps me be so efficient in cardmaking and pocket card making, THANK YOU for the improvements you made to the MISTI to make it even easier - LOVE!
ReplyDeleteLove this little scene you created! Made me smile:)
ReplyDeleteI love to personalize Christmas cards, we send many... but the theme is usually nativity. So using the Misti is a must because of all the little sweet pieces! (P.S. love the little "magnet garage") tee hee
