Hey everyone - I'm a guest on the blog today with a no-line watercolor project for you.
This gorgeous border set came out today and I knew it's going to be a go to for cards AND for envelopes, so I'm bringing you one of each.
I stamped the image in Fadeout ink, and watercolored it with Daniel Smith watercolor before adding the sentiment in Nocturne.
The envelope is easy in the MISTI, because these beautiful Key Lime envelopes are ever so slightly tapered on either side of the flap. So you can open the flap and square the envelope up in the corner of the MISTI, and be able to have this stamp hang off either edge if you want to. It's kind of fun to see these side by side - the nice crisp lines of the image with the softer, watercolor look. It's quite versatile! The card base is Key Lime as well. She sells pre-cut cardstock, which is my favorite. More time to stamp.

ReplyDeleteWow! The difference between the line-art image and the watercolored image is amazing. I don't know if I would have realized they were from the same stamp. And the Ink Blot Shop stamps are adorable!
