Hi everyone.
Ilina here today. And welcome to another Team Tuesday. Unfortunately today I don't have a video for you (it's little crazy in our house: colds, stomach bugs and Creativation prep, besides my full time job). But I have an extra fun card for you and a tip how you can use only 3 ink pads for 5 layer layering stamps.
For my card I used the Impression Obsession Macaron stamp set and stamped each Macaron using the following sets of 3 colors (inks by Impression Obsession)
Banana, Canary and Goldenrod;
Bubblegum, Peony and Ruby;
Seafoam, Aqua and Teal.
What I did was: I stamped the 1 layer with the lightest color, next for the 2nd layer I used the same color but stamped it twice thanks to my MISTI, this way I was able to achieve a shade darker color, then went with the middle color, then the darkest and for the 5th and final layer I stamped with the darkest color twice using my MISTI. And I was so happy how my macarons turned out.
Next, I cut them out.
I stamped the sentiment in versamark and embossed with Gold Embossing powder, then I adhered the macarons, added the gold thread and adhered to pink card base. I added washi tape and sequins to finish off the card.
Hope you are inspired to create something fun today. And I promise next time I will have a video for you :)
What a fun card!
ReplyDeleteDelicious, and delectable, Ilina! Looks like I could pluck the whole stack off of my screen, and take one big bite!
