Happy Tuesday!
It's Chris here with you today, and I am sharing a tutorial video demonstrating my process using the Original MISTI to create this single layer card, using the Winter Girl rubber cling stamp kit from Unity Stamp Company.
Using Gina K. Designs' heavyweight white cardstock, I first did a bit of selective inking with Versamark ink and clear embossing powder to first create an emboss resist on just the snowflakes. I used Memento Dew Drop inks to also selectively stamp the hair and the rest of the girl so I could do a bit of no-line Copic coloring. I left my girl stamp in place on the lid for later. I then masked the girl, and using the negative from a rectangle die cut to act as a mask, did a bit of ink blending to create the focal area. I then removed the mask and did my no-line coloring with Copic markers.
I finished my image by re-stamping the whole girl image with Versamark ink and using clear embossing powder to add all the details back in. Lastly, I added my greeting using a see-through plastic grid to help me align and choose the location of the greeting.
