Gina K Framescape Tropical Skies

We recently went on vacation to St. Kitts.  It was the best vacation we have taken so far.  We have been to many places for work and play and this by far was the most relaxing.    Today's card was inspired by this vacation.

I used the Gina K Framescape Tropical Skies with a whole lot of blending.  I first stamped the sun in Altenew Citrus Burst Ink. I stamped it again with Versamark Ink and used Icicle Embossing powder to seal the color in.  This kept the shape of the sun from getting lost with all the ink blending.

Mother's Day Roses

Happy Tuesday!

It's Ceal, here today for the Team Tuesday post. I send out lots of Mothers day cards and the MISTI is amazing for this, I can create lots of cards in record time because f the MISTI. 

Not only do I need the MISTI for multiple cards but, the stamp set I used Sweet Rose Bouquet is a layering stamp set. not just one layer but multiple layers! here is no way I could even begin to make cards with this set without a MISTI.

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base and of course the Original MISTI and the Sweet Rose Bouquet stamp set by Altenew. When I am using a layering set I always stamp something that will help me line up my images because y'all even with the MISTI I still goof at times because I don't one them up correctly. Using Altenew inks I stamped the leaves first

Next I started layering the roses, they have four layers to them and I have added some pictures of step one and step four

The leaves are two step, so I added the second step and the greeting 

I always make a good bit of Mother's Day cards to mail out to my friends who have recently lost their mom, my sisters and just some of my friends, on some of them I added a little texture by using a stencil and some texture paste.

Altenew 3D Flowers

This is one of the easiest cards I have made in a long time.  Normally, I slave over my cards to come up with an original design.   I did not want to spend a lot of time selecting colors, so I kept the flower colors traditional.  My quest to use up my cardstock has been successful.

Hello everyone, Kia here with for Team Tuesday. 

When I first started to make cards I did not do any stamping. Misti was not around back then. So, all my cards were done with die cuts, and I filled the card with abundance. So time consuming, but I did enjoy it. For today's card I went back to my roots with a lot of detail and a lot on the card. I used Altenew's Framed, Wild Hibiscus and Beautiful Day for the sentiment. 

I started out by stamping the frame in my mini Misti, then painting with Fantastic Vegas Gold Ink. 

I then painted the rope using Zig Clean Color Brushes in a deep blue, and proceeded to stamp the butterflies on the panel in my original Misti, using Ranger Archival Ink in Manganese Blue.

 Once the butterflies were stamped I added the flower that would be stamped on this panel using Ranger Archival ink in Cobalt. As my original Misti was busy, I stamped the other flowers I wanted to use in my mini Misti, then proceeded to watercolour the flowers, again using Zig Clean Color Brushes.

I attached the framed panel to my card base, then fussy cut the flowers, and styled them slightly before attaching to my card.

It seems that I never decide on my sentiment, or even if I will use one until the end of my card, and Misti makes it possible to add the sentiment whenever you want. I inked up my sentiment using versamark embossing ink, stamped using my mini Misti and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
