The brand was new to us, and their giant books of the stunning illustrations used on their paper was breathtaking, to say the least.
Add in a few warm, gracious women, and we knew it was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. So a conversation at that booth turned into a collaboration we've been excited about for months - a joint blog hop with their team.
What was so interesting about their products though is that while the stunning papers were recognizable as Renke from a mile away, she also has a WIDE range of style in her stamps and dies that is so charming - and also has something about it that makes it RENKEgnizable. :) We just love everything they do, here at My Sweet Petunia.
So I went in a different direction today with my card as a guest here on the blog. My blog post features the softer, watercolor look she's so known for, so I went full on modern for this card, with this adorable little boy and girl.
I had a stencil brushed background in my UFO pile that was graphic and bold and perfect for my black and white featured images. The stencil is this one, and the ink is Red Royal.
Then I stamped the little characters from Little Friends in black and cut them out. The Bubbles Frame dies double cut so you get that little frame around them. Love that. Then the sentiments from Best Wishes fit perfectly. Easy, simple, but graphic and fun.
