Floral Mandala Card

Hello friends!! It’s Channin here and today I’m creating a beautiful clean and simple card featuring the Floral Mandala Bundle from Hero Arts.

To create this card I first stamped the large floral mandala image from the Floral Mandala stamp set in black ink onto white cardstock. I then copic colored the image and when I finished I popped the image back into my MISTI and stamped it again to make the image bold and black.

Next, I die cut the image out with the matching die. I then stamped the front of an A2 top-folding white card base with a sentiment from the Floral Mandala stamp set in black. Next, I finished the card by adhering the mandala to the card from with foam adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed my card! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Pretty Postage Card with Channin

Hello friends! It's Channin here and today I have sweet little valentine share! I used the new Pretty Postage Stamp Set from Honey Bee Stamps to create this card.

To create this card I first stamped the main image from the Pretty Postage Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black onto white cardstock.

I then copic colored the image and then die cut it out with the matching die.

Red Flowers: (inside) R24, R35, R29, R46

    (outside) R35, R29, R46, R59

Flower Centers: Y11 & Y15

Mint Green: YG11 & YG41

Green: G43 & YG67

Envelope: R00, R20, R22

Next I die cut an 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” panel of light pink cardstock with the Quilted A2 Cover Plate Die. I then adhered the panel to an A2 top-folding white card base. Next, I adhered my image with foam adhesive. Lastly, I stamped, white heat-embossed, and die cut my sentiment and then adhered it to my card front with foam adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed my card! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Team Tuesday with Kia and Gnomes

Gnomes seem to be very popular recently, so I decided to use the only Gnome I have, which is by Picket Fence Studios, to make a winter card.

I started by stamping the image on white card stock using Memento Ink in my Original Misti. I set up the Misti with the stamp in the bottom right corner so I could just turn the paper to stamp each image.

I then coloured each image using Copic Markers in different colours, nut did the beard for the green Gnome slightly different, as he was going to be front and centre.
Using my Penny Black die Elegant Stitching I die cut white cardstock then stamped with the Let It Snow stamp using VersaMark and White Embossing Powder, going around the edge. I goofed up on the left side, but as you will see I fixed it.
Using Penny Black's Trio Snowflake set I die cut the smallest snowflake to cover my mistake. I attached the Let It Snow piece to my card base, tucked the snowflake in and gluing with Nuvo glue, then added my top die cut panel using foam squares.
I added my card to my Mini Misti and stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. I also added a bit of Wink of Stella to the beard of the Green Hat Gnome and Midas Touch Shimmering Pen to the centre snowflake on the hats.
I can certainly understand why everyone love Gnomes, they are great fun.
I hope you have enjoyed today's Team Tuesday card, and I thank you for visiting.

MFT Cutiesaurus

I could very easily say that using subtle pattern paper is another way to add texture to a card.  Saying that would make me sound like such an expert.  But in reality, I really just want to get rid of my pattern paper.  Simply purging feels so wrong.

I rarely read blog posts, except for Understand Blue.  My friend, Lydia, is hilarious so I have to read her posts each time.   I typically just look at the pretty pictures.   I don't think that I am alone.   That is why this post is so short.... I just don't have anything to add to the video.

Hope you enjoy the video and I hope you comment letting me know if you have purged or used your pattern paper.   Do you buy a lot of pattern paper?  If you comment, then I will know you read my post.

Thanks for stopping by!
