The winter in the Midwest started off pretty meek. Our first snowfall was on Christmas morning. Since then it has been cold. Cold weather makes me stay indoors. Especially, since I work from home there is no need to get out of my warm jammies.
I seem to get more crafting done during this time of the year. Maybe since I had a great time on the last set of cards, I decided to just jump in and stamp without a plan.
I picked out a colors searching for winter color combinations. Once I picked out my colors. I stamped Altenew Arabesque Medallion onto a half sheet of Gina K white layering cardstock. Once I stamped all my images, I played around with how to showcase the medallion.
This card was made with the cut offs from the first card pictured above. I just fussy cut around the medallion. I used the Congratulations die from Simon Says Stamp.
I cut this medallion in half and was able to make two cards with one medallion. For the second one I had to fussy cut around the medallion and then mounted it with foam.
This card only uses one medallion. I used Lawn Fawn Stitched rectangle frames to add some interest. The sentiment comes from Gina K Peony Wishes.
This last card was with just scraps. I used my favorite Thanks die from Honey Bee. For all my cards I only embellished with Glossy Accents. In all, I ended up with 21 cards.
If you want to see the last 3 cards be sure to watch the video.
