All aboard the creativity express! 🚌✨ Today on the My Sweet Petunia blog, Design Team member Deniz Do is taking us on a delightful little ride with an adorable school bus shaker card that's bursting with cheerful color and a touch of sparkle! Using her MISTI and Creative Corners, Deniz brings together sweet, stamped images, a softly blended background, and a clever shaker window filled with shimmering surprises. We love how she transforms a simple school scene into an interactive card that's sure to bring a smile. Let's take a closer look at how she created this charming project!

Hi crafty friends! Today I’m sharing a cheerful little card featuring an adorable school scene from Trinity Stamps with a fun shaker twist!

I started by using my MISTI to stamp the school bus and the coordinating images, then coloured everything in soft, happy colours before die cutting the pieces. For the background, I masked off a simple roadway and added a very light blend of colour to keep the scene clean and bright.

I ink blended some warm yellows on my card base behind where the bus would be. I then stamped the bus on heat resistant acetate and added to my front panel and created a shaker window inside the bus and filled it with a mix of yellow, clear and iridescent shaker bits. I love how the sparkle adds interest without taking away from the sweet, stamped images.

Once everything was assembled, I arranged the cutie elements around the bus and finished the card with Hero Arts sentiments.
