Today, our team is hopping with our friends at Impression Obsession - a company we just love. Mitra, the owner, is a kind, funny and generous lady who has assembled a team of incredible illustrators and artists who produce an incredibly wide range of styles. She also, like me, is a developer of stamping tools - notably the Mega Mount - which is a genius idea for using large background stamps. She's definitely someone I admire a lot, and I think of her as a pioneer. So I'm happy to be stamping with her gorgeous stamps today and can't wait to see what everyone else has made.
For my card I started with some Arches Cold Press Watercolor paper. I Stamped my images from Impression Obsession's Autumn Leaves stamp set in Delicata Celestial Copper pigment ink. Next, I added Hero Arts Copper embossing powder. After heat setting the embossing powder, I broke out my Peerless watercolors. This is the first time I used them on a card. After it was dry, I mounted it to my card base.

ReplyDeleteThe first time I saw this gorgeous card, I was so impressed. I thought about how you must've popped up all the Autumn Leaves after fussing cutting and I don't fussy cut much any more. Watched the video and wow! I can do that--I can make the leaves have shadows by coloring beside them with a darker color. Also I have watercolor paper, and that just doesn't get a good first take. Thanks for showing off the MISTI for me as well. Quite a bit of inspiration I've gotten. Thank you.
