Team Tuesday - with Jordan Hansen

Fall crafting has officially arrived on the My Sweet Petunia blog! 🍂 

For today’s Team Tuesday, Design Team member Jordan Hansen is reaching into her stash and giving a beautiful older fall stamp set some well-deserved attention. With rich autumn leaves, warm plaid, and a thoughtful sentiment, this card has all the cozy colors we love this time of year. And, of course, Jordan has several My Sweet Petunia favorites by her side—from her Original MISTI for perfectly stamped details to the Precision Glue Press for putting all those beautiful layers together. Keep reading to see how Jordan created this lovely fall thank-you card!

Hey! It's Jordan here from Jordan's Easy Entertaining.  I am more than ready for some fall crafting!  For today’s card, I went digging through my stash and pulled out an older Spellbinders stamp set that I thought deserved a little love. The beautiful fall foliage was perfect for breaking out some of my favorite autumn colors, and of course, my MISTI helped me get everything stamped just right. I love how this warm and cozy thank you card came together!

I started this card by cutting out a panel of white cardstock with a die from the 

• Nested Postage Labels & Tag Etched Dies from Spellbinders.  Then I placed that cardstock into my MISTI and used the Spellbinders Fall Thoughtfulness clear stamp set to stamp this beautiful fall foliage bouquet image and a sentiment that says "thank you for your thoughtfulness" using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink.

After my ink completely dried, I colored in the image using Altenew alcohol markers.

The rest of the card came together really easily. I die cut a piece of shimmery brown cardstock with the coordinating postage die from the Nested Postage Labels & Tag Etched Dies set to create a border around the focal panel, then attached the two pieces together with foam tape for a little extra dimension. Next, I used my Precision Glue Press to adhere the layered focal panel to the plaid background before attaching everything to an A2 sized card base.

As always, my final step was to stamp my custom Altenew “created by Jordan Hansen” stamp on the back of my card using my MISTI LITE and Petunia Platform.

I think handmade cards are such a sweet way to let someone know how much you appreciate them, and this one is ready to send the next time someone does something especially thoughtful.
