Team Tuesday with Kia

Kia here with you to share today's Team Tuesday card.

I used my Original Misti for this card, along with my Creative Corners. I changed the position of the first two stampings, then moved the paper for the last three stampings of the bell. I also overlapped the top bell with the second bell. I stamped all using Versamark and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.
I then proceeded to watercolour using a mixture of watercolours, in the following order. Daniel Smith Manganese Blue, Schmincke May Green, Daniel Smith Phthalo Turquoise, Schmincke Cobalt Turquoise, Winsor Newton Permanent Rose and Winsor Newton Violet Dioxazine. I dragged a few of the colours down into the open space.
I stamped the Jingle Bell sentiment from another stamp set using Ranger Archival in Paradise Teal. I wanted to use the die Believe, but was not sure how I wanted it to look, so I cut a few in different card stock. I also die cut some snowflakes from white glitter card stock.
I settled on using the Tonic Silky Sky Mirror card stock and the Silver Glitter card stock, shadowing the glitter with the sky colour.
Before proceeding any further, I splattered paint using my Kuretake White Gold Watercolour and the Schmincke Cobalt Teal.
I then attached my panel to a blue/teal card base, and glued on the snowflakes, then attached the Believe sentiment using foam squares that I cut to fit. And, no surprise to me, but I just noticed now that I failed to dot the "i". It is done now, with a crystal gem.
I hope you have enjoyed this card today. and wish to thank you for visiting My Sweet Petunia.

  1. This is gorgeous! I love the colors and how you pulled out some of the color from the bells to the background, very cool look. Thanks for sharing this and for the inspiration, I can't wait to try this.
