We recently went on vacation to St. Kitts. It was the best vacation we have taken so far. We have been to many places for work and play and this by far was the most relaxing. Today's card was inspired by this vacation.
I used the Gina K Framescape Tropical Skies with a whole lot of blending. I first stamped the sun in Altenew Citrus Burst Ink. I stamped it again with Versamark Ink and used Icicle Embossing powder to seal the color in. This kept the shape of the sun from getting lost with all the ink blending.

This is absolutely STUNNING Iliana. I am now (kind of) looking forward to going away to see something this beautiful. I have never flown and am still a little apprehensive, however, next year will be our 40th Ann. so we have decided to go to Cuba with our son, daughter in law and some of her family. Where I don't swim, I plan to take my colouring/water colouring and my camera in hopes to get inspired by the local scenery. I am anxious to see the sunsets there. TFS!
This is gorgeous! We were married 43 years before we took our first and only cruise to the Caribbean. We went with our small Sunday School group, and had the best time...saw some scenes just like this beautiful card. Thanks for the memories!

ReplyDeleteWhen I was there, I asked a local where do they go on vacation. He said they go to the big cities. Wonder what those memories are like for them.
