City Christmas

I grew up in Houston in the Aldine district, not far from Bush Intercontinental airport.  Houston is a huge and I mean huge city.  When I joined the military I ended up in San Antonio and that is also a huge city.  So until I was 22 years old, that is all I knew.

Now we live in a village.  No, literally.  The sign says, "Welcome to the village of Sherrard".  Population 600.  No stop lights, no traffic.  I love where we live but there is nothing to do here unless you golf or fish.  I shouldn't say nothing to do.  If you are a crafter, there is plenty to do here.

So when I go visit my mom in Houston, I feel swallowed up by the immensity of the city.  However, there is much to do and so many friends and family to get caught up with.  There is so much good Mexican food to eat, especially my mom's.

So here is my Houston Christmas card.  I hope you enjoy the video .

Stamps Used:
Cozy Christmas
Calling All Heroes
Kitchen Sink Owl & Autumn Moon

I am so excited I just placed my first order. Just found out about your products. I also live in the Houston area on the SW side in Richmond. I have just been here a year. I'm from rural IL but lived 25 yrs in the Chicago area. So many differences and yet so alike at times. Must say I'm not going to miss the winters.

  2. I love this!
I want to wish you a Very Merry Christmas Iliana filled with many blessings and happy memories.
I feel like you blessed me this year with the gift of my MISTI. I feel it has truly made me a better stamper!! I love inking stamps with paint and repeat stamping so this tool was a treasure to receive. I reach for it almost every time I stamp. It has even made me think about unmounting some of my wood mounted stamps too so I can use them with the Misti... much easier.
All the best for the new year. I read you are coming out with new products...so exciting.
    thanks again.
    warm wishes and hugs,
    Karen Dunbrook

  7. I moved to the USA in July last year. I now live in Virginia near Washington D.C. I used to do everything on my bike. Now I take my car. But I'm not complaining. I love living here. And the big avantage is being able to order from all the online craft stores here and going to Michaels etc. it's only for a 3 year period so I have to make the most of it.
